OPP Looking For Man After Assault In Kenora

Kenora OPP are asking you to be on alert for a man wanted for a serious assault.  

They say an injured man was found just after 9 this morning, with the suspect fleeing on foot in the Minto area.

The suspect is Indigenous, about 5'11, 180lbs, black hair, hazel eyes.  He was last seen without a shirt, wearing black pants.  He has a tattoo on the upper right side of his face.

Police say he considered a risk to public safety, and not to approach him, but call police.  

(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the OPP K9 unit are searching for a male involved in a serious assault in the Minto area of Kenora.

Police received a report of an injured male on October 31, 2017 shortly after 9:00 am following an assault. The male suspect fled on foot in the Minto area.

The suspect is described as an Indigenous male, appx, 5'11, 180 lbs, black hair, hazel eyes. He was last seen without a shirt, wearing black pants. He has a tattoo on the upper right side of his face. 

The suspect is considered a risk to public safety. Anyone who may know of the whereabouts of the suspect or may have come into contact with him should not approach him. Instead, contact the police as soon as possible by calling 911 or the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
