Hospital Issues To Be Heard

A provincial lobby group is hoping to make hospital reform an election issue next year.

Today, the Ontario Health Coalition is holding a public meeting at the Italian hall on Algoma from 3 PM until 7.

Organizer Jules Tupker says they expect to hear stories of overcrowding at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

"The biggest problem here in Thunder Bay is the gridlock that happens causing all kinds of problems in the hospital, even the paramedics who can't offload their patients."

Tupker says the information collected will be presented to the political parties in time for next year's election.
