More firefighters from Ontario are heading to British Columbia.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says 100 additional personnel from here will be heading west sometime this week.
The request, once again, comes from the B.C. government through the Canadain Interagency Forest Fire Centre.
Jonathan Scott says it's because the wildfire situation there is getting worse.
250 Ontario firefighters have already been sent to help battle the B.C. blazes.
With so few wildfires burning in our region, the ministry believes we can afford to lend out our personnel.
